Preview: Late Models Invade Park Jefferson for Carlson Clash
The Stars of the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association and Corn Belt Clash Series invade Park Jefferson Speedway Friday and Saturday for the 2nd annual Carlson Clash. Drivers expected to race include the top five in MLRA points starting with Ryan Gustin, Jeremy Payne, Terry Philips, Jason Utter, and Tad Pospisil. More drivers expected to be in attendance include 2014 CBC and MLRA Champion Chad Simpson and Chris Simpson.
On Friday the 29th, racing starts at 7:30 featuring the Late Models, supported by the Sign Masters A Modifieds, J&J Fitting Stock Cars, and Pederson Machine Sport Mods. On Saturday the 30th, racing starts at 7:00 featuring the Late Models, supported by the Pederson Machine Sport Mods, Hobby Stocks, and Sport Compacts. Adult Tickets are $20, children 6-16 are $8, and children 5 and under are free. VIP (includes free food and beverage) is $35, children 2-16 are $15, and a pit pass is $30.
