Top-10 finish in MLRA Spring Nationals opener at Wheatland

Billy Moyer Jr. was one of 38 Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association (MLRA) entries on hand at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) on Friday evening for the two-day MLRA Spring Nationals. After missing a transfer spot by one position in his heat race, Moyer Jr. secured his spot into the opening night feature with a consolation victory. For the $7,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday, Billy grabbed the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his heat, which pinned him on the seventh row for the finale. He was an early retiree with five circuits remaining.
