Roth Motorsports attends MLRA doubleheader at Wheatland

Both Roth Motorsports pilots Jeff Roth and Joe Godsey were in action on Friday evening at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) for the Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association (MLRA) doubleheader. Drawing 38 cars, Jeff and Joe fell short of a transfer spot in their heat, relegating him into the B-Main. Locking the Top 3 into the opening night feature, Jeff came one spot short with a fourth-place outing while Joe placed third. For the second round of the MLRA Spring Nationals on Saturday, Joe followed up a fifth-place finish in his heat with a second-place outing in his B-Main. Jeff took part in time trials and his heat race but was a scratch from his B-Main. Starting the $7,000-to-win finale in 21st, Godsey jumped up two spots to place 19th.
