Tad Pospisil Visits Lucas Oil Speedway for Show-Me 100

After losing Thursday’s program to Mother Nature, Tad Pospisil was one of 63 Late Models amassed at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) on Friday afternoon for the event co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) and the Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association (MLRA). Following the ninth-fastest time in his qualifying group, Tad posted a fifth-place finish in his heat race, relegating him into the B-Main for another shot at the $6,000-to-win Tribute to Don & Billie Gibson preliminary feature. Needing to place second or better, Pospisil came one spot short with a third-place outing.

With a provisional already secured into Saturday's main event, Pospisil used his B-Main as a test session to prepare for the $50,000-to-win Show-Me 100. Starting in 29th, Tad was an early retiree from the 100-lapper on lap 70. He was credited with a 24th-place finish.
