Top-5 finish with Lucas Oil MLRA at 81 Speedway
On Friday evening, Tad Pospisil visited 81 Speedway (Park City, Kan.) to compete in the Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association (MLRA) season opener. After topping the 39-car field in time trials, Pospisil dashed to a heat race win, which positioned him on the pole for the opening night feature. The following night, Tad locked his spot into the $7,000-to-win A-Main with a second-place finish in his heat. Starting in fifth, Pospisil clawed forward one spot in the 35-lap affair to finish fourth. He trailed Johnny Scott, Gordy Gundaker, and Chad Simpson to the checkers with Chris Simpson coming in fifth.
