Stevens Treks to Iowa for Lucas Oil MLRA Weekend

Forty-five Super Late Models registered for battle at the ultra-racy, 1/4-mile oval. Tyler started his outing with the 13th fastest time in his qualifying group and went on to finish fourth in his heat race to lock into the 14th-starting spot for the night's $5,000-to-win feature.

Tyler advanced to as high as the fourth position before a flat tire with two laps to go knocked him out of the feature. He was credited with an 11th-place finish.

The 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa) was the host venue on Friday evening as the 15th annual Slocum 50 came to life. The seventh fast lap in his qualifying group and a fifth-place finish in his heat race relegated Tyler a B-Main, which he won.

Starting 17th in the feature Stevens was marching forward before a broken axle ended his night in the 25th position.

Saturday's $5,000-to-win event at 34 Raceway fell victim to rain.
